Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the spacious facility offers 33 private rooms with personal TVs and telephones to maximize patient comfort and confidentiality.
IRMC offers two care areas: Acute Care for serious conditions and Minor Care for non-urgent conditions.
Architectural Award
Indian River Medical Center's Emergency Department has been honored with an Indian River County Chamber of Commerce Architectural Recognition Award. The Emergency Department was recognized in the 'government building' category for new construction based on the merits of aesthetic value, ease of access for pedestrian and vehicles, landscaping and the building's improvement of the areas in which it is located.
