Sleep Disorder Center

Sleep is an active state important for renewing our mental and physical health each day. Disorders of sleep and waking lead to a lowered quality of life and reduced personal health.

The IRMC Sleep Disorder Center provides comprehensive sleep monitoring to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

An estimated two out of every five Americans have a serious sleep disorder that interferes with their ability to initiate or maintain sleep or that causes them to have excessive daytime sleepiness. These disorders stem from a wide variety of causes, which affect all types of people of all ages. Women are twice as likely as men to have difficulties falling asleep or staying asleep.
